BabyTALK Times Returns
Forsyth Public Library is pleased to announce the return of BabyTALK Times with sessions starting at 9:30 a.m. and lasting until 10:15. Time is reserved after the sessions to consult with the BabyTALK teacher. Programs will be held two mornings a month. During February, BabyTALK is scheduled for Wednesdays February 3rd and 17th.
Be My Story Quilt Valentine
Children age 3 - 5 are invited to join us on the "Story Quilt" for Valentine fun on Thursday morning, February 11, from 10:00 - 10:45. We'll enjoy read-alouds, games, and a craft. Advance registration is required and can be completed in person or by calling the library (877-8174), or emailing children's librarian Lorraine Getty at lgettyfpl@yahoo.com.
Page Turners Book Club for Kids
The Page Turners Book Club for children in grades 4 - 8 meets twice a month to participate in activities and discussion related to preselected books. Currently, the group is reading The Lightning Thief, by Rick Riordan, the first book of the Percy Jackon and the Olympian series which premiers in movie theaters February 12. New members are always welcome, but advance registration is required.
