- Review of the Collection Development Policy. Illinois law requires a review of the library`s Collection Development every two years. There were several minor changes in the wording some passages. The policy was accepted as presented. Jean noted that the policy will need to be revised whent the long range plan is completed to reflect changes in the priorities for the collection whech are largely determined by the service responses the committee selects.
-
Trustee education Requirement- Cindy Coloni The 2007 Per capita Grant requires a component of trustee education. One way to fulfill that is for a Trustee to complete the section on Long range planning. Her presentation to the full committee included a discussion of the planning process and a written handout which summarized the major points presented.
