Today's painting is under way! Help us celebrate 250 years of the USA by joining our community mural project. This special 7-by-12-foot mural will be unveiled at Forsyth Fest and permanently located at Veterans Pavilion. We need 200 community members to each paint one tile, so bring your friends. To help us keep all tiles organized and protected, all painting must take place at the Forsyth Public Library. Don’t worry about being an artist—expert painting skills are not required. When you arrive, you will receive simple instructions on how to paint your tile.
Painting opportunities include:
May 7 as a drop-in day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (painting must be completed by 7:00 p.m.)
May 8 as a drop-in day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (painting must be completed by 5:00 p.m.)
This project is open to all, so invite friends and family, even if they don’t live in Forsyth.
